Friends - it has been a while, but I found time to get out another YeeHaw. I'll work harder to get these back on a regular schedule. In the spirit of the World Cup (Congrats, France!), which is one of my favorite sporting events, a lot of the content today is soccer related.
As always, if you know anyone that would like to subscribe, please send them to YeeHaw.io.

[THE GOOD STUFF]
Reflection in Yosemite
A BETTER LUNCHBOX (Link)- I often take my lunch to work and carry it in a plastic Target bag or one of Laura's Lululemon bags. This isn't ideal for many reasons, so I thought a dry-bag might be a better solution. Dry-bags are small, seal up so nothing can leak in our out, and can be attached to things, like a computer bag. It is super convenient to put in my food and strap this thing to my computer bag then head to work without forgetting my lunch or worrying about contents falling out. I went with a small ($16)
Women are not allowed to attend soccer games in Iran, but these 5 ladies made it work in disguise.
THE MOST AMAZING SOCCER STADIUMS IN THE WORLD (Article) - The Atlantic has a series of images of some of the most unique soccer fields across the planet, from the Swiss Alps to giant blocks of ice in Greenland. I think my favorite is the floating field in Thailand, although kicking the ball out of bounds would be a huge issue.
NEVER WORRY ABOUT YOU GRAMMAR AGAIN (App) - I've been using the app Grammarly for a couple of years now to minimize my typing mistakes, which I can be prone to make. It functions as a plug-in to your browser and identifies spelling and grammar mistakes as you type, and can quickly show you definitions or synonyms. In addition, you get a weekly report of your grammar performance compared to other Grammarly users. (Free)
TOUR DE FRANCE EXPLAINED (Video) - Now that the World Cup is over, check out the Tour De France, which goes on through July. If, like me, you think this race is kinda confusing to watch (what is a peloton? what is the significance of the yellow jersey? etc.), this video explains everything you need to know. (10 minutes)
MUSIC (Playlist Spotify Link) - I'm trying something a little different this time. Instead of recommending albums, I have made a playlist of some of my favorite songs over the past couple of months. This is largely driven by the fact that I haven't found many new albums that a really like, but have come across plenty of individual songs. The only exceptions to this...I really like Cardi B's Invasion of Privacy. I think almost every song on that album could be a top-20 hit. I also like Kanye's ye, which is only 7 songs and is lyrically intense, but very good. A few notes on this playlist:
- Kanye's Ghost Town and MorMor's Heaven's Only Wishful are my favorite songs over the past few months
- If you miss The Cranberries, check out Hatchie
- I have never liked Drake, but he has a few really good songs on his recent album Scorpion
- Warning - Many of the songs have graphic lyrics
- 15 songs, 62 minutes
